Asia’s largest trade fair for toys and baby products- the 18th China Toy Expo closed its three-day run in Shanghai New International Expo Center on Oct.16-18. The show attracted a total of 88,481 trade visitors including 7,898 overseas visitors from 133 countries and regions achieving a 12% year-on-year growth.
2019 CTE hosted 2508 exhibitors with 4859 brands presenting comprehensive categories of products and immense business opportunities. As a highlight, this year’s CTE brought together leading Chinese toy and baby products manufacturers from over 15 major production regions across China and formed 10 featured display zones including Models and Figurines, Fashion toys, Wooden Toys, Soft Toys, Intelligent Toys, Education Toys & Games, Outdoor and Sports, Baby and Infant Toys, Global OEM/ODM, Board Game. Moreover, around 400 international big brands from over 100 countries and regions exhibited at CTE, such as LEGO, Spin Master, MGA, ZURU, Disney, Hape, Playmobil, Crayola, VTech, BANDAI, Maisto, CAT, Ty, GUND, Asmodee, Smart games, HABA, Guidecraft, B.Toys, DJECO etc.
CTE is recognized not only as a one-stop
sourcing platform for international buyers but also an effective gateway
for international brands to tap the China domestic market and
benefit from the huge market potential.
At the concurrently held China Kids Expo, China Preschool Expo and China Licensing Expo, a wide variety of baby products including baby carriages, car seats, feeding products, maternity products, ride-ons, preschool resources including playground equipment, teaching aids, STEAM products, courses, sports equipment and popular IPs with huge market potential were showcased. To maximize the benefits of the fair, various special displays and a series of forums and seminars were held during the show period.

The customized International Buyer Business Matching Event was highly praised by both international buyers and exhibitors.
