Children’s Outdoor Products Become a New and Strong Commercial Drive

Recently, Tmall released a survey on six new outdoor product markets of 10 billion Yuan.

The report shows that from 2021 to 2023, searches for “outdoor products” spikes 659%, compared with the previous same period. In 2022, six new consumer markets centering on outdoor products with a turnover of over 10 billion have emerged, including children’s outdoor product market.

In the post-pandemic era, consumer market is witnessing a significant change. Customers’ strong needs of the products in the outdoor, leisure, and life fields are becoming a new commercial opportunity.

According to the report, by the end of March 2023, the overall turnover of outdoor products reaches 100 billion Yuan with a year-on-year increase of 400% in the first-tier cities and 220% in the fifth and sixth-tier cities.

In the last year, consumption of children’s skate boards rose fastest by 80% among children’s outdoor products following by scooters, helmets, bikes, and accessories.
